Hotline, for example, has a vibrant palette but uses darker values to balance this out. The color palette is probably too vibrant/saturated for this type of game.Why are there not more zombies? Where is the chaos and urgency that a game like this thrives on? That doesn't give people a ton to go on (show us more). In the two gifs you showed, there is one enemy in the screen and the gifs last for 4 seconds.Break down games like Hotline Miami and see where you can improve your game. Look closely at your game influences and similar games.A game like this needs hit effects, blood splatters, zombie heads flying off, etc. If that is not intended, maybe rework that. For better or worse, the player looks like a baby.I don't necessarily mean a "bloody" font or something like that to fit a zombie theme, but something that fits with pixel art or at least doesn't read like a default font. I think you could choose a much better font that fits your art better.Plus, give the player an option to turn it off if you haven't already. Tone down/tune the screen-shake, as it is disorienting and actually makes me nauseous.Lose the dithering filter or whatever that effect is in the first GIF.While I personally have no interest in this type of gameplay nor zombie themes, I like the art style and think it works well for your game.I won't get into the marketing of a game, but I can give you some thoughts based on the information provided.
